Modern Marble-Look Media Wall with Electric Fireplace and LED Lighting in Miami
This completed Miami project transformed a large living room wall into a contemporary architectural focal point. The design combines a mounted television, an extra-long electric fireplace, glossy marble-look decorative panels, contrasting side columns, illuminated display niches, and warm integrated LED lighting.

Instead of treating the television, fireplace, and decorative elements as separate additions, the entire installation was developed as one balanced composition. The result is a bold modern feature that defines the room while maintaining a clean and cohesive appearance.

A Custom Media Wall Designed Around the Room

The central section of the wall was designed to visually connect the television and fireplace. Large-format white marble-look panels create a bright backdrop, while expressive gray and warm-toned veining introduces movement and contrast.

The television is mounted directly above the fireplace, establishing a strong central axis and keeping both elements visually connected. Concealed wiring helps preserve the clean surface of the decorative panels.

Like all professionally planned custom media walls, the composition was developed around the wall dimensions, television size, fireplace proportions, room layout, and desired architectural impact.

Integrated Linear Electric Fireplace

An extra-long linear electric fireplace is built into the lower architectural section of the wall. The surrounding marble-look panels continue across the fireplace build-out, helping it feel integrated rather than installed as a separate appliance.

The active flame effect brings warmth and movement to the polished surfaces while providing an inviting evening atmosphere. Because the fireplace maintains a low horizontal profile, it visually balances the television without making the central section feel too heavy.

Homeowners considering a similar feature can explore additional custom fireplace wall designs, including modern linear fireplaces, floating mantels, stone-look surfaces, cabinetry, and integrated media-wall configurations.

Marble-Look Panels and Architectural Contrast

The design uses two complementary marble-inspired finishes. The central section features a lighter surface with dramatic veining, while the tall architectural columns on both sides introduce a deeper gray stone appearance.

This contrast creates a clear visual hierarchy:

  • The light central panels define the television and fireplace
  • Darker side columns frame the composition
  • Vertical lighting separates the materials
  • The right-side display niche introduces depth and functionality
  • Glossy finishes reflect light and make the room feel brighter

Using marble-look decorative panels provides the visual impact of natural stone while allowing the fireplace surround, vertical columns, corners, and wall transitions to be developed as one coordinated system.

Warm LED Lighting and Display Niches

Vertical LED lighting was integrated between the central feature and the darker side sections. The warm light emphasizes the full height of the wall, highlights the material transitions, and softens the appearance of the polished panels.

An illuminated display niche on the right side adds architectural depth and creates space for decorative objects. Its integrated shelf lighting turns the niche into part of the overall composition rather than a separate shelving unit.

For homeowners requiring more concealed storage, equipment compartments, or larger display areas, a custom entertainment center can combine these architectural finishes with built-in cabinets, floating storage, glass shelving, and furniture-quality millwork.

A Contemporary Focal Point for a Miami Home

This project demonstrates how a relatively restrained group of elements can create a strong visual result. The design relies on scale, material contrast, lighting, and proportion rather than excessive decoration.

The finished media wall provides:

  • A dedicated television location
  • An integrated electric fireplace
  • Concealed cable routing
  • A coordinated architectural surround
  • Illuminated display space
  • Warm ambient lighting
  • A strong focal point for the living room
